Hi! I’m Karlie 👋

Despite being a very chatty Gemini, I will keep this section short & sweet.

Books, music, & movement are essential to my well being. Writing, singing, & walking ground me like no other.

The river is my happy place, even though it’s been a while since I visited.

I like being around people, as much as I love being alone.

My family, especially the children in my life (that includes you Ava Jane), are my priority. If you know me, if you know my family, you know there is never a dull moment. I wouldn’t have it any other way…. most days.

I must always be learning something. It’s both a blessing and exhausting… I love it.

Politics are very interesting to me, but I know better than to get swept away in the drama of it all.

History, esoteric studies, exploration of any kind, the natural world, music, finance, & fitness… all of these bring me joy & consume my time.

Spending time in the kitchen, cultivating a cozy environment, & tending to our home is important to me.

My partner & I prioritize travel in our lives. We make a great team & there isn’t a day that I am not grateful for his presence in my life.

I care very deeply about people & the work that I do.

You may not be able to find me on social media, but you can find me at a local coffee shop catching up with people in real time.
